Aadil Merali Juma

Aadil has been teaching at McMaster University in various positions since 2006. He has been an instructor at the DeGroote School of Business in Accounting since 2013 before joining Bachelor of Technology program as a full time instructor in 2014. He teaches in both the 4-year program and the Degree Completion Program at the School of Engineering Technology while still maintaining collaboration with DeGroote School of Business and School of Engineering Practice teaching various courses for the programs. His teaching field includes; Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Engineering Economics, Engineering Entrepreneurship and Innovation,  Financial Systems for Technical Organizations, and Management.

Aadil has over 10 years of experience in the industry and has served as a CEO of Recreational Facilities Management Limited in Kenya; Director of Business Development at Learna Education Inc., and Director of Finance and Strategy at TrackGen Solutions Inc. He has also worked in the academic field as an examiner for C.P.A. Canada and as a SME reviewer for Pearson Education Inc.

In his spare time, Aadil enjoys spending time with his family and, more specifically his toddler son. He also likes to assist in various voluntary organizations such those that work with students in choosing career paths and volunteering to provide free educational training at the community centre where he attends. He has a great passion for pluralism and is fluent in six different languages and enjoys to participate in different community events in a voluntary or contributory capacity.
