Management Program Chair
Allan has been teaching the Bachelor of Technology program since 2007 and in January 2012 took on the role of Program Chair, Management for the 4-Year Program. His teaching field includes; Organizational Behaviour, Leadership, Strategy, Ethics, Management Principles, Entrepreneurship, and Techno-Politics.
Allan has over 25 years’ experience in the workplace talent management, including adjunct faculty appointments at various universities and colleges; Managing Director for a human capital management consulting firm serving mid-market enterprises; VP Operations for a training and development firm serving Fortune 100 and 500 corporations and non-profit organizations; and a number of years in progressive talent management positions in a variety of industry sectors. Allan continues to consult and provide training in emergent talent acquisition intelligence and employer branding strategies for leading companies in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors.
In his spare time, Allan enjoys exploring the science and practice of biophilic design and sustainability. He has a great passion for the outdoors, and is an avid cyclist, wilderness canoe tripper, and accomplished mountaineer.
